It’s a difficult task for the flood affected victims to come back to their normal life. As we all have seen people returning to their homes from camps, have to overcome a very pathetic condition of what had happened to their effort of full life in just one day. They need to start from the beginning for which mental strength is of utter importance.
Pratheeksha along with other related volunteers/charities, decided to work supporting for the relief effort in flood-affected places by donating to the disaster relief. As decided, Pratheeksha was able to distribute student’s kits to kids from Chittar LP School. The meeting was chaired by PTA president Mr. Abdul Rahman at 11 am. The function was inaugurated by Mr. Harikumar Namboothiri. Mr. Vishnu Prasad M.V, Secretary of Pratheeksha, inaugurated the distribution of kits.
Chittar is one of the most damaged areas due to flooding. Many houses, schools and buildings were destroyed and many lives were list in the storm and flood. Through this activity Pratheeksha was able to distribute books and learning materials to the kids, who were affected by flood, and bring them back to the world of education.
