“You can’t have a better tomorrow, if you are still thinking about yesterday”
There is one particular feature we know about kids, it’s that they have short attention spans and prefer now to later. This is especially true at the beginning of the year. Teachers have the most power to know how to motivate students because they’re on the front lines. They can influence students in a way that kids can actually understand. All these factors are applicable to students when they come from a regular background. But when it comes to students who are financially backward or with health issues, we need to give more attention.
Patheksha, a Srishti initiative has undertaken programmes to support children who need financial aid for education and health. Currently there are many students under the sponsorship of Pratheksha. As part of the services undertaken, our representatives Vishnu and Parvathy conducted motivational programme at V K Kani School, Panacode. They dealt with different topics such as career building, exam pressures, coping with failures, goal setting, exam tips, importance of education etc. Being responsible citizens, we will go on doing our best to children, as our country’s future is in their hands…
